Hello! I'm Florence, creator of the LA STELLA LIFESTYLE BAG

“La Stella sums up my life.”

With this desire to reinvent myself every day that has always driven me.

22 years old, a dietician diploma in my pocket, a future in a hospital environment all mapped out, I decide to drop everything, I join a cosmetics laboratory. This is when my great adventure with WOMEN begins. For 20 years, I evolve daily with them, I give them dietary, beauty and style advice. It is at this precise moment that I become aware of my love for "BEAUTY".

Helping to beautify a face, a place, an outfit, whatever, the important thing for me is to achieve the perfect aesthetic balance.

This close relationship and exchanges with women taught me a lot about their desire for movement, their need for changes in style...

An empirical profession rich in encounters that I loved.

15 years go by, 2 sons, I start to go round in circles.

I have to reinvent myself. The desire to create something of my own with my inspirations. Always passionate about materials and leather goods, I then decided to create ATELIER UNASTELL, a brand of mountain decoration and fashion accessories with unique textures (faux fur, jeans, etc.)

During this period, I learned everything on my own about fabrics and leather, the quality of the materials, tanning, the manufacturing stages, the stitches.

Everything! Except styling. I create by eye, by intuition, by sketches, but I know instinctively which materials to assemble, which shapes to give, which colors to match for a harmonious aesthetic.

The women then parade in my showroom, I listen to them tell their stories with passion. And always these words come back:

"Movement, Change" and the desire for a changing wardrobe with styles and colours that mix and match depending on your outfit and the times of the day. This desire also to get rid of this too static bag and the regular constraint of moving your personal effects.

Everything then seemed obvious to me, I had to create a bag that would accompany women in their multiple daily lives, an easy-to-carry bag where all the precious items would remain in a "base" and where the style would affirm their personality, in short a bag with multiple faces that would weigh down neither its budget nor its wardrobe.

December 2018 the LA STELLA adventure begins with the meeting of an excellent master leatherworker who will ensure the manufacturing.
